Modular Window tooling
It’s nearly 20 years since the inception and design of the original modular window system, marketed through Trend Tool Technology. The original ‘Trend’ system was designed to run on a spindle moulder with a flush mounted sliding table and minimal set-up. Once the fence depth and spindle height had been set with the simple setting gauge, a complete outer frame and sash could be manufactured from square dressed timber in a matter of minutes.
All the tooling, and spacers, were numbered and simple wall-charts and manuals were supplied with each system.
We also supply the original knives for the Trend Modular Window System.
We still produce bespoke systems to the same specifications as the Trend system but have these manufactured by our European tooling suppliers who have many years’ experience in timber window design and construction.
